Welcome to yet another Adventurous Ride to Horsely Hills. Gear up for this exciting Endurance Ride RESILIENCE 555kms – HORSELY HILLS

Horsely Hills is an iconic hill in the Deccan Plateau of Andhra Pradesh and close to Borders of Tamilnadu and Karnataka. The route takes you across Thiruvallur - Thirutani - Nagari -Chittoor -Palmaner - Madenapalli and leads to Horsely Hills. It's short baby climb of 10km approx with an avg gradient of 6% and Elevation Gain of 550 Mtrs. There is a scenic loop on top of the Hill which offers Breath Taking views to the Riders and the Cool Breeze which blows there is just mesmerizing.

START TIME - Friday, Feb 23rd, 2024 @ 22:00 Hrs

CUT OFF TIME - 38 Hours

END TIME – Sunday Feb 25th, 2024 @ 12:00 Noon

Route – The riders will have to sweat on the onward journey as there is a natural elevation from costal City of Chennai to the Ghats of Andhra. Starting from JBC Anna Nagar the route takes you via Maduravoyal -Poonamallee - ORR exit Pattabiram and take the road to Thiruvallur - Thirutani - Nagari -Chittoor -Palmaner - Madenapalli which leads to Horsely Hills and head back on the same route.

Note :

The ride is entirely Self Supported.

We suggest, not to break your momentum by posing for locals selfies/picture request and lookout for your safety first, while getting down on road.

When in entering to villages, kindly fill up your rations on highways or at checkpoints.

Registration Fee - Rs. 999.00 (Including 18% GST)

Minimum eligibility for participation in the ride - 18 years of age having completed a 300+km ride before

Mandatory for the ride:

1) Printed Chennai Cyclist Rider ID tagged to your bicycles in front/back. You could generate it for yourself and print and tag it on your own, ID-Card

2) Helmet is mandatory

3) Powerful front light and red tail light is mandatory.

4) Reflective vest is mandatory.

5) Hydration kit – Min 2 water bottles, other hydrating ration.

Dont’s:

1) Aero bars shall not be used at any point of time.

2) Any rider who quit the ride shall not expect support from the volunteers. Only on medical emergencies, volunteers would be able to support. All volunteers are posted to support the riders who are continuing their ride.

3) On any situation, rider who missed CP time or rode the event without registration, should not claim their finishers badge.
